All I can really say is upgrade your Lucky Looter skill and hope you find some. If you're really desperate, look for tree stumps and chop them up. There's a small chance you can find a jar of honey which will bring your infection down a bit to buy you some time. Or, you can scrounge around looking only for stumps and drink a lot of honey to get rid of it. But know that it's going to take time finding those and you don't always receive honey from them, so it's a bit of a gamble. Antibiotics are very hard to find and is best to just make them yourself once you get your Chemistry set and skills in that particular field up. Also, looting pharmacies and hospitals is your best bet, but hospitals are tough to survive in if you're low level or have shoddy weapons. (I recommend crouching while using the bow to kill them if you are low level for the added damage bonus; aim for the head) Best of luck to you.

Thank you I've looted about 10 houses and only found one very annoying but I've found nothing but armor so its hard to knock me down just need more pills so I can fully cure it

Another potential (plus XP): Do trader missions. Antibiotics are often one of the rewards offered (it's random but it happens fairly often for me).

You only get honey from trees if you have read a particular book.

Stumps have i think 20% chance to drop honey. One jar cures 5%. Until you have an ample supply of antibiotics, chop down every stump you come across.

Trader quests do indeed have a high chance of offering antibiotics as a reward.

If i was infected early game without a source of cure, i would take buried supply quests and look for stumps to chop on the way there and back.

Unless you have a pop n pills to try, looting is probably the worst way to try to get antibiotics.

I often find myself rather missing old versions where zombie bodies were lootable, and the loot contents had some relevant context - like finding bandages and antibiotics was more common on dead nurses.

and usualy trader sell them too

Never had a problem with infection in early game since I know that.

Chop every trunk you see. You'll get all the honey you need.

So i've had been infected for a constant duration of 23 ingame days before I got my infection totally cured. Also struggling to find Antibiotics where I looted fully 2 pharmacies and 1 hospital and NO antibiotics. But that's the beauty of the game. I quickly changed my strategy to chopping up trees and thus kept my infection to a max of 32%, got antibiotics and finished it off with 1 honey and one of those natural antibiotics thats green. thats what i love about this game, of having to adapt and improvise. So yes you got infected. A- Head to pharmacies and hospitals B- Go natural route, can you make it yourself or are you going to scavange for it? C- Trader nearby? Go and see if they have otherwise wait until they restock D- Easy way out go Suicide XD Adapt. Improvise. Survive.
