Good items to sell to merchants
Hey hello there !

I would like to know what are the best items / weapons / foods / tools of all kinds that yield the most with merchants for great profits in terms of tokens

The condition of the object also affects its value at the level of the sale? Should I fix it first?

Everything with some value that you don't need.

Example: I often do a pretty penny by selling steel parts that are needed to craft weapons I'm not speciliazed into.

Another easy way to make some money is to sell bulk materials you have plenty of... even rocks for example.

Wrenching cars and selling Engines, Radiatiors and Batteries is also a good gain IMO.

If you find "old money" don't scrap it for paper! Keep stocking on it and sell it at a trader! :yay:

Usually, I sell level 4 weapons, tools, and armor to the traders (especially the ones I get from raiding POI buildings). Excess military armor and steel tools tend to give me a lot of duke coins.

If you have a lot of repair kits, then you can repair items you intend to sell for a greater profit.

The problem is, the trader only accepts a limited number of items before he/she will no longer accept it. After that, I usually rent those vending machines and put my remaining items in there to get rid of them.

JOST AMMAN is correct as selling old money does yield a lot of duke coins. You don't even need to scrap them for paper as paper is very easily obtained.

If you have a high level item (5 or 6), repair and mod it before selling. The mods will increase the price by about 100x the level of the item, but selling the mods alone are usually worth less that $100. If you just want money, then you could rent a Vending Machine in the Trader's area. You have to wait days (maybe weeks) before the machine sells things (When I've filled a machine with about 20 level 6 fully modded items (selling at 80% value), the machine usually generates about $10k every 4 days). You get no experience for items sold via Vending Machine though (each of those level 6 modded items would have given me $3k and 3k xp at the Trader)

Anything worth more than 99 Dukes (otherwise it get scrapped) and can't be melted in the forge gets sold.
Mods for weapons and armor are saved up until there's a weapon or piece of armor to equip them on and then they will be sold as this gives you more money than if you sold them on their own.
Any stackable item that I find myself with a full stack of and don't need (or at least, don't need more of).
No matter how much concrete you need (which is a LOT) I still don't need all of that stone I get from mining and the traders will buy it.
You can sell crops you grow for yourself if you have more than you need.
Certain skill books can help you find more gold/silver nuggets and diamonds when mining/looting.

The rest I got from watching this.
