Jumping Snakes
Just had a lovely meeting with some snakes.
As far as I remember, snakes can't jump - well, these snakes did.
So, I guess, the new AI was just slapped all over everything - zombies and animals alike? :snake:

So snakes are more realistic now? Good to know (I didn't even know there were snakes, where have they been hiding all this time).

I found some sort of small camp with 2 tents, surrounded by junkjard-cars (flat pressed) and a digged out area in the middle with 6 or 7 snakes (and one zombie dog).
I didn't know as well, so I thought they were turds from the dog and thought "cool, animals now poop xD", but when I approached them, they unfolded and chased me ^^

thats exactly where i died today 20 min into alpha 17 !

I haven't seen whatever you saw in the game, but I do live in a swamp and can confirm that some snakes can jump: or more accurately, they can strike with such force that their body is thrust into the air. They do it to catch low-flying bats and birds, or just to nibble your nuts, I don't know I can't read their minds.

Yeah, I know that there are indeed some snakes that can catch some air.
The snakes in the game look like rattlesnakes, though.
Good thing, one arrow kills them and they give a ton of fresh meat^^
