Is the game dead?

Its been soo many years now in early access ...so many and no release, is the game dead or are the devs just holding on to it till it fails and keep everyone's money. No this is not a troll message , ive seen these happen with many games and as a gamer im used to seeing it happen with huge and small fan base alike. does anyone know the real ETA or actual update?

AND look at the player base on steam 30k-40k players constantly online thats a damn healthy game right there...

the game is going along well... its just damn slow when it comes of BIG meaningfull Updates.. but honestly that allways was the case so no change there... its coming slow and steady as always.

Well this is the player bases fault. The pimps asked if we wanted smaller faster updates or bigger updates with more time in between. The overwhelming majority on the official forums wanted the later since it involved less starting over due to new revisions of the game code.

Clearly it's a troll as this complained about on a weekly basis. And given a full explanation how early development works pretty much every time.

If you want an honest answer to your question, go to the official 7D2D forum (Steam is not it), and you can read all the developer notes and comments about the continuing development of the title.

People who start these threads obviously didn't take even a single moment to do any research at all. They don't even take 5 seconds to look at the forum. They just start a nonsense thread for the hell of it. It's not like there wasn't already an active thread on this exact same subject either.
