But hey I still agree it would be nice to keep chickens for eggs!
Is that a perk, or a book or something?
Inquiring minds want to know.....
if this is a perk or book i want it^^ so far i chopped douzens of trees and only thing i got was a jare of honey
I'm currently on week 16 and I have so much food I had to make two separate crates. One for cooked food/meat and one for canned goods. I'm swimming in pumpkin and blueberry pies with plenty of eggs to spare.
If you want more eggs just head to the burned or desert biomes. Nests are much easier to see in those areas.
I do like an idea to add animal husbandry to the game. It would be a great addition.
Maybe three levels.
Level 1 - allows you to craft simple snares capable of catching rabbits and chickens.
Level 2 - steel cage traps, capable of trapping wolves and deer
Level 3 - bear traps - capable of catching and immobilizing anything, including zombies
Traps could work similarly to player vending machines, in that you set them and simply check back later for a chance to have a catch. You can have as many traps as you care to craft, but only one trap per chuck can catch anything per day. (i.e. you can't put down 100 traps in one chunk and catch 100 rabbits)
