NO SAND???

so i have collected mountains of crushed sand. however i cant seem to find a single piece of just regular old sand. i cant craft it in the mixer or forge or anywhere and i cant make any glass because of it. can someone for the love of god tell me whats going on?

Crushed sand, melt to sand. Glass shards also, for that matter.

there is no option in the forge for me to melt to sand. ive searched for 45 days in game and nothing. i have found absolutely no way to make sand. is it a bug or something?

put the crushed sand in the same slot you would put iron, clay, or lead to melt into your forge.

put fuel in and melt the crushed sand. you now have sand in your forge. You make the glass in the forge.

ok so i dont need to make glass from the forge i need sand to make bullet proof glass and i cant make sand that is the issue

You place the crushed sand in the smelting part of the forge, it's on the right. One of two verticle slots. You then place fuel (Wood, Coal) into the forge and turn it on. You will see a timer telling how long each unit of crushed sand will take to smelt. You can see the sand counter go up by 1-5.

you put rock into the mixer and ask it to crush it to sand. Take the sand out of the mixer and melt in forge

They have the crushed sand. They want to make bullet Proof Glass in the forge and it asks for sand. They need to put the crushed sand in the smelter part.

does it need clay to, like the glass jars do? maybe they're missing the rest of the ingredients? never made bulletproof glass so not sure the reqs.

^This. You will also need the other ingredients smelted into the Forge (Iron, Lead, Stone and Clay).

And you also need a Crucible to make bulletproof glass.
