Yea... but it's not recommended. There is a reason the game only supports 8 max.

Dunno as I do not play on servers nor would I try exceed 8. System requirements climb past 8 players and you already need 12GB or RAM before that for example...

If your hoster doesn`t support more or you don't pay for more - you can't at all.

If you host the server on your own or on a root/VPS, you can set the playercount in the serverconfig.xml

Running more than with 8 players can get the server very laggy. My server runs on a VPS with 12 players and when it's full it can cause some heavy lagspikes
