4. Societal collapse doesn't need any examples, plenty of that on the news lately. If you need examples you're on your own. Raiders are a soon to be added feature, and probably represent some of the Dukes enforcement, while others are just opportunistic thugs like some recent local examples IRL.
5. The Dukes some petty warlord with human thugs for enforcement and probably some means of influencing zombie behavior as a "big stick" hence Horde night. I get a Negan type vibe when I really wonder about it.
