Comcast Port Forwarding Issue for server
Hi, I'm having some trouble getting my ports to open up so people outside of my local network can join on my server.

I'm getting nothing from using the computers internal IPv4,
and in the port forward setting for IPv6 is says the following;

"Server IPv6 addr is not in valid range:
2601:204:c101:5be0:0:0:0:0001 ~ 2601:204:c101:5be0:0:0:0:fffe"

I have scowered up and down the internet for a solution and I haven't found anything.

Thanks in advance.

You forward ports on your router not on the server.

What make/model of router? Normally you put in the IP address of your server and the ports your want to forward. than apply that to the port forward table. I'd show you a screen shot of my settings but I'm at work atm.

The model of the router is TG1682G made by ARRIS Group, Inc.
I've tried using both the internal and external IPv6; both give me the same error I quoted above.

Not familiar with that router but here is a pretty detailed post on how to set it up. Hope this helps.
