4 years in, I have never used auto sort.
Then good for you. I'm sure a lot of people would love to auto insert 3 stacks of bottle water instead of all 4. I'm just offering ideas for the devs.

.... What is the difference between auto sorting stuff and doing it manually?
One is automatic and takes almost no effort the other is slower and does the exact same thing.
That's like saying writing in cursive is a lost art, yeah it's lost because it's mostly obsolete at this point.
It's a QoL thing that's great for people who care about it and meaningless for people who don't.
Locking slots would be great, I always have a certain loadout and I am very particular about where they are in my inventory.
C'est une feature que je trouve indispensable.
Any reason why it's not turned on in the base game? Seems simple enough of a tweak.
