EAC almost never gives a false-positive for a ban. As a result, it is extremely rare that a ban decision by EAC will be overturned.
Especially if it was years ago.

Well, a couple of years ago you got caught cheating, and action was taken accordingly.
If you believed it was in error, then you should have dealt with it then.

As it stands now, there isn't much you can do with it except stick to servers that don't use EAC protection. Which means you will stand a chance of being affected by others who are using cheats.

Valve won't do anything for an EAC ban. If it was just a VAC ban, you might have had some hope contesting it back when it happened.
EAC very rarely overturns their decisions on bans.This is because the way their process works creates a 99.99% certainty of the violation when it is detected.
TFP does not issue either VAC or EAC bans, and would not be able to assist you with this.

The only people you can contact regarding this is Steam. TFP does not issue VAC bans.

7 days to die does not use a VAC ban and does not have a game ban. Your last ban on your account is from years ago.

What are the exact messages you are getting that make you think you are banned on 7 days to die

Maybe it's a login restriction on the server he tried to connect to...

My money is on EAC, but impossible to say until he posts exact error message.

Don't cheat. That is how you deal with it.

You can start by posting the exact message you are getting rather then expecting us to read your mind.

@wuyouwul,
Given your ban was 890 days ago there really is nothing likely to be able to be done at this point.
This was almost 2.5 years ago. Your best hope would be to contact Valve via support but generally they do not do anything. Secondarily you can ask them what game you were playing when the ban was issued. Once you know for certain which game was being played when the ban was issued yoiu can contact the developer of their anti-cheat software (as an example if you find you were playing 7DTD then you would need to contact Easy AntiCheat for any appeal attempt.

Would a VAC Ban even have anything to do with 7dtd? AFAIK having a VAC ban would effect absolutely nothing in 7dtd since it doesn't use VAC. Unless EAC cross checks against VAC bans which I've never heard of.

OP you need to say what is happening if you want any help, right now all we can do is guess.

What exactly is the message you get? What are you doing to get it, is it when you try to join a specific server? Have you tried other servers?Are you even able to launch the game st all?

Based on the limited info we have, it looks like a server is blocking you because of a past vac ban, which has nothing to do with this game. But you say that's not it, so what is it?

I don't think the ban on that OP's account is a VAC ban. However, from here we can't see much more than "1 game ban on record | nfo 891 day(s) since last ban".
Since OP is asking in the 7DTD forum the issue is likely about 7DTD.as such I suppose asking Valve would be unnecessary.

@wuyouwul,
If the issues is with 7DTD as the game ban then you would need to take it up with Easy AntiCheat. Contact > Ban Appeal[www.easy.ac]
I am sorry but I don't know how the process works.
