tips on finding weapon parts except gun stores

toilets are good for pistols, ranger stations are good for hunting rifles and shotgun parts.
all safes.
Military camps and soldiers will occasionally drop upper level gun parts too.

cowboys drop hunting rifles and farmers drop compound bows

sometimes polices and ferals have ak47 parts, go to some city and kill zombies, they will spawn

I build my first ak47 for my 56 day horde xD, go to the red mesa with good scavenging level and quality joe 3, maybe some zombie drop parts

very hard but yeah, go with all 5 traders, maybe 1 of them have it and try to have all secret stash

Explore cities and find the banks. There are 6 safes behind the teller counter and 9 inside the vault. If you're lucky there will be sleepers inside the vault who will wake up while you're looting the teller counter and will bash their way out, saving you the trouble of destroying the vault door.

Why do you need an AK-47 specifically? The Day 21 horde isn't that bad. You must have some other weapons by now.
