Character profile

I am playing a MP game with a buddy that is not on a serve (I just set it up as multiplayer as if I were making my own game) well i already knew steel but with the new update and it being locked I can no longer make it even though I have all the reqs. Question is how do i delete that character profile and start fresh then just give myself the exp and skill points

You need to delete the save game, not the character profile

Character profiles are just the appearance settings

So we basically need to start over? Thats a shame. I was hoping to be able to do something similar to what Games4Kickz did and just delete the character and keep everything we have worked for.

Delete the player data from the game save.

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves

Open Navezgane or Random Gen depending on what your save was.

Open the game folder that has the same name as your save.

Open the Player folder.

Delete the MAP and TTP files.

Now when you join the game it will act as if it is your first time joining and start fresh but the map itself will not change so you won't lose any buildings.
