Before was pretty easy to deal with any leg wound doing a splint, maybe they wanted to make it a bit harder, to make the safe way be to carry a splint around like some people do with antibiotics after a bit.
Not a rough/terrible change, even if a bit annoying sometimes when you break your leg on the middle of nowere.
Agreed. I can splint your leg up real nice with some sticks and cloth ripped from my clothing. Duct tape would make this easier but it's NOT required.
I dunno, splints are something I used to scrap as soon as I found them because I could just make one on the spot if I needed it (there's always cloth and wood somewhere nearby no matter where you are). They just need to fix the wonky mechanics and bugs with broken legs and it'll be fine.
New players these days always expect purple iron armour on day one, can't or won't bother reading and expect people to tell them how to play....millenials are pathetic.
How about not breaking you leg in the first place. It only happens when you being utterly careless.
Duct tape is everywhere and so is cloth and wood. Duct tape and glue are both easily craftable....if you can't make a splint after a day or 2 as is stands you must be quite touched.
This would only be a problem if you were reduced to crawling aka Day Z style......but your not.
I would like to add that as a gamer of more than 30 years that this is amongst the best I've ever played. Would be a shame to alienate new players. Also (apart from the OP fog and weather) the graphics on my machine are stunning in XA16.
There is soooooooooooooo much good about this game.
A small fall will give you a sprained leg which goes away reasonably fast without a splint. To break a leg takes a big fall and you need to learn to be careful.
I used to do solo wilderness backpacking in RL and you HAVE to be careful where you put your feet when you are many miles from assistance.
