Report a translation problem
Turn off the forge, remove anything smelting and the fuel source as well as cancel whatever is crafting. That should unlock it.

You can't access the tools so long as there is something being crafted, even if you turn off the forge.
In A15 (cannot confirm for A16) you could 'Shift' click Anvil/Calipers/ToolDieSet into the Forge, even if the Forge was smelting stuff.
Might be worth a try.
Edit: But as mentioned, this sounds like it's working as intended.

Don't wait. It is awesome! With b113 it is really good playable.
Nah, bought Witcher 1 and 2 when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago. And Empyrion had a major update I haven't checked out yet.
Lots to do to keep me distracted from the game I really want to play
