Filling jars and cans wit hwater

I do not know why I can no longer do this but I used to be able to stand on the shore, RMC the water with a can or jar in my hand and fill it. Anyone else having this problem? I am at 0% thirst and stand by a lake.

Try getting deeper where you are actually wet, it's working fine for me then

I have noticed that I have to now go deeper into water to fill containers.. for some reason. Aliens did it, I suspect. I also cannot swim.

Yeah its tricky, I had to go out a bit deeper into the pool of water and click several times to get the cans/jars to refil.

After posting I tried again and if I went out until I was above 50% wet I was able to do it. It might be coincidental though.

Apparently now you can't just fill a water bottle like a normal human, you have to have it in your hand and get your body down in the water enough for the water to be over the top of the bottle to fill it... "Oh no, i will not make any efforts to fill this bottle, it will fill by itself."

I have no issuses filling water bottles, you can also fill tin cans

Yeah, they said it in the Alpha 16 patchnotes somewhere that you have to be IN the water now.
