Then send your resume and go fix it? What are you waiting for?
Also - Alpha. Also - it's not gamebreaking. Also - it's get done, content first. Also... I like that word. A L S O... yes... allllllllll sooooooooooo
So may we ask your background experiance in game developement? How do you know it will never get released? Do you know the differance between FACT and OPINION?? How do you know how long developement on a game this size takes without any knowlage of how to make a game????
http://overmental.com/content/10-games-that-spent-the-longest-time-in-development-2-672
Oh look at this link and tell me again this game has been in development too long.
They just released an experimental A16 patch and the stable version is coming in 1-2 weeks. Yep, real scam there huh? Even on A15 it has more content than 99% of any other EA game out there and felt to me and many others like a full release game. Or let me guess, you want them to release the game then you have to pay for DLC instead of getting it for free by waiting???
Look at 99% of the veteran posters on these forums, you will find that all of them have 500 - 1K+ hours on this game alone. Most players don't even have that much playtime on AAA rated games. So please tell me how it's a scam???
So before you show your intellegance level by spouting pure opinion based BS, do a google search, learn a few facts, then make an appropriate post.
Here's some help in your search for knowlage about the game.

But I have no need since the last update, they fixed bindings!
@OP https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle
And I personally don't see how they fixed keybindings in the latest update since there are still some that cannot be changecd such as the function keys and mousewheel (rendering my gaming mouse useless and the cause of my butthurtness).
Thanks for posting something that isn't some unintelligent fanboy garbage though :). Always makes me laugh when people say things like "you make a game then" (I have never produced a game so I must have 0 understanding of how it works), and "its early access" (4 years early access with some bugs that have been in the entire time and no release date in sight).
Jesus H. Christ. Since the dawn of time, Alpha= implement core features and mechanics. Beta= bug fixing and final optimizations. ♥♥♥♥ off.
The alpha/beta system stopped being relavent with the introduction of the early access model. It used to be you made the game (alpha stage) then when it was close to finished beta stage would be for testing bugs and server stress capabilities. The benefit of early access is that it allows smaller dev teams to start a project and make enough money to keep it alive. the downside is that if TFP decided tomoro to quit and remove 7dtd from steam theres nothing anyone can do about it and no way for you to continue playing the game that you paid for. Since the game has been openly stested since day 1 there is no need for a "beta" in the traditional sense since bug testing is already being done. Why have a bug testing stage within a bug testing stage?
Another great comment that provides 0 actual substance other than that you like the game. Great! I enjoy this game as well, as can be seen by my 600 hours played. Just because you like the game doesn't mean there are no faults in it. I feel like the menu and keybinds could easily be fully optomized and functional and be done with , instead of the way TFP jump from project to project leaving behind unfinished aspects of the game for long periods (wether because they get distracted or have no clear production plan implemented, who knows). As far as my game dev experience, it can be safe to assume that static functions like keybinds and menu interactions are much easier to create than new physics for zombie ragdolls and an electric wiring system.
The reason the other (rude) commenters are saying "alpha", is because during the alpha stage of software development, you really don't always know what features are going to be in the game. So building things like keymapping, or doing all kinds of optimizations at this stage... it's just too early. Once the feature set is finished, then the game moves into the "beta" stage where the real polishing happens. That's when optimizations and all the quality-of-life additions are made.
I understand what you are saying, but "too early" seems a bit exaggerated after 4 years to me. I have played since the beginning and TFP have a bad habit of jumping from one half finished project to the next. I get that they are a small dev team, but at least have some sort of plan instead of the sometimes random ideas that seem to originate from half baked urinal gossip between the devs. Like the new electriccal stuff. Great! Now finish the electricity in its entirety and then when its at 100% you fix the bugs in it and now that part is finished. Don't introduce electricity full of bugs and then go on to work on something complex like adding functionality to different wall materials to muffle sound at verrying degrees (which would be amazing with dynamic positioning surround sound) as an example.
