Okay, but the question I have is why? Like, is it to do with a locally saved file, or the identity of the computer? Or something completely different? Is it something inherent to easy anticheat?
I have access to the original PC, basically I could easily remote into it (it's currently online and I have it accessible through remote desktop), so I could transfer files if that was the bottleneck. If it's PC name or some combination of connection ID or something that's a bit more difficult. Was hoping to get an answer from someone who's been in this situation before and figured out the issues with it.
I should clarify, the friend is running the actual server for the game on her pc, as a nondedicated one. I just join. I'm on same steam account. So if it's account driven I would think that should transfer over.
In older versions this will even carry over what your character has on them ... just be mindful of your position on the map as you could end up somewhere you wont like, lol
