Finding seed name?

I have forgotten what i typed in World Gen Seed spot when starting a game. How can i find it?

"%appdata%\7DaysToDie\Saves" look for a folder called "name", in that should be "seed", see if its in there.

I should have mentions I am using Linux. But I will try to search for where that would be. Thanks!

Don't know the Linux file structure, but search for "GenerationInfo.txt". It'll give both the world name and seed name.

I found it and it is blank on the seed?!?!

World Name: Voluya Territory
Original Seed:

Total Generation Time: 19 minutes 10 seconds

Had to fire up the game to check. If you don't enter anything at all in the "world seed field" when creating a new map, then that is the name of the map it will generate.

Edit: This only applies to the 8192 map size.

It did create Voluya Territory but I do not know what to put in World gen seed spot in serverconfig.xml when trying to copy world to server.

I don't host a server, so I'm pretty sure you just have to have it set like this:

property name="GameWorld" value="RWG"
property name="WorldGenSeed" value=""
property name="WorldGenSize" value="8192"

I've tried that but it creates South Nogeu County or something and starts me over. Funny thing is i can open world editor and go into Vlouya Territoty world and i have all my stuf, i'm in right location but at day one and in God mode?!?! wth

Yeah, this is outside my own experience, so I think you're going to have to get help from someone that runs a server and knows the ins and outs of stuff like this. Maybe put up a post in the Servers or General Questions section, since the issue is now different than finding the seed name. Good luck.
