Where the heck are the Mini-bike seat/handlebar schematics?????

About ready to stop playing the game. Been playing forever. I am practically an expert(game wise anyway lol) in every other area of construction/fabrication in the game EXCEPT for mini-bike seats and handlebars. I have searched FAR AND WIDE and they are nowhere to be found. Is denying the player these schematics some kind of cheesey time sink? Cause Ill tell you, Im pretty frustrated and Im not happy with the game at all at this point. Im sick and tired of running everywhere I have to go across a huge damn map! I like the game otherwise but without the mini-bike, Ill probably just give up playing all together.

You need a workbench to make them, no recipe needed but the minivike one.

First you need the minibikes for (self bleeped) manual (schematic). Once you read it, you need a workbench. You can either spend skill points to unlock the skill to make one, or find a POI with a workbench and use a wrench on it and take it home with you.

Then use the search bar on the workbench and type in minibike and find both the seat and handlebars. You can also use the search bar in your crafting section (hit tab) and type in minibike and it will show you the craft station you need to make it.

I find the minibike schematics easier than calipers...took me 268 hours of gameplay to find my very first one....lol

Like I said, I can make just about everything else and have already made the work bench. The mini-bike seat and handlebars state that they require the proper schematic to make though, and I cant find those. On a positive aside though, I have found the calipers. Found a couple pair actually....

I have played for about 200 hours and I have only found the bike blueprints twice. The first time was in a random pile of garbage on the road in the middle of no where. The second was from an air drop. It is my understanding that those prints are RNG and can spawn in any container with the exception of food/water storage containers.

I was getting quite upset I wasnt finding them either, so I just set out after the horde came and didn't come back until I found them. Search EVERYTHING in your path...especially air drops.

Thanks but Ive found the actual "mini-bikes for dumb dumbs"(or whatever its called) many times over. But that source wont give the schematics for the mini-bike seat or handlebars. THOSE are the schematics that I cannot find anywhere =/

Now, one fella up above says that all I need is the workbench-which Ive built a couple of times in different places already. If only the workbench is needed and not any schematics Im gonna feel pretty dumb-and a little angry-because in the build description, both seat and handlebars state that they require schematics. Well, here goes. Lets see what happens...thanks for the reply by the way.

Go to workbench, open it, type in "mini", should be sufficient to show you both the seat and the bar.

If you have the book for dummies, then type in 'bike' in the search bar and 3 pieces should pop up. The frame, seat, handlebars. I'm sure you knew that but I figured I would say it anyway because that book should allow you to build everything you need..with of course the workbench. It is frustrating, but give it time...

Mark the 0:0 coordinates on your map (random map). Go there and find the book store (there are usually 2 or more.) Break in and check all the book shelves. You should find something. While there hit the shotgun messiah, working stiff and shamway foods for more stuff. There is so much other stuff to loot in the the big city you should find all the schematics you will ever need. Stay away for 3 days ( or whatever the respawn option you have set) Come back and repeat.

As far as i can tell, a few items which used to need a schematic no longer need one. I spent ages looking for a wrench schematic which was mentioned in the forums as being a pain to find. Turns out there's no longer one (forum posts were all out of date), and you can just build a wrench whenever from a workbench.

you only need the one book, then you need a workbench to make the parts. then ezpz minibike

Chassis is made in the forge (clay and iron). You may need the forge tools as well (anvil etc.) You can't make all the parts, you have to find parts like battery, headlight,tires, engine. Etc.
Check the wiki out.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I just came out of the game and guess what? All you DO need is to have read the "mini-bike" book and use the workbench. Ive found and read the book a number of times and built a couple of workbenches already. What threw me off was that everytime I looked at the requirements to build a mini-bike seat or handlebars it said at the bottom of the description "With the correct schematics". I simply assumed that I still needed to find the "Correct schematics". Its misleading at best. Anyway, Im happily buzzing around on my mini-bike now. By the time I figured all of this out, I had already found all purple stuff for my other mini-bike parts. I guess thats the silver lining?

Day 55, no minibikes for dummies anywhere. I'm forest gump by this point, though I've found the iron legs recipe about, oh, 30 times. And for some reason the airdrop people continue to send the hunting knife recipe. Thanks guys, I got it...

And I'm almost a bit sentimental for life without the mini bike. Ironic.

I make regular trips to crack-a-book, there's so many book cases in there (double stacked) that I generally have every schematic within 3 or 4 trips (with respawn time dependant to whatever the server setting is)

I've even seen it for sale at traitor joels and since I tned to build and hang out near one it pops up for sale eventually. I like being near the trader on horde nights. Quick run back and forth to sell all the trash pickup and make bank on the tokens

Now I just wish he had stainless steel polish more often, I've got the money but gotta check every day for more to buy
