Shutters
Game needs open/close armoured shutter windows. Whilst scrap trap doors work they are not ideal.

I really want a blind for my iron bars, so I can shoot through them when it is open. Yet I do not have to be viable 24/7 if I am using them.

You could do this around Alpha 10 with hatches. Then hatches couldn't go vertical next Alpha, Check mods section.

The trap doors as the op mentioned, is a reference to hatches I would have to assume. Proper shutters (like a small version of the garage door ) would but a most welcome addition IMO.
