Mass farming feathers?
Takes me an entire in game day to find like 300 feathers and they get used up so fast. Can I breed chickens or something to get these faster?

unfortunately you can't breed chicken's atm, find a burnt biome where nest's are easy to spot you will soon be swimming in feather's.

No chicken breeding yet. Where do you go to look for feathers? Generally the easiest biomes to find them in are the desert and snow biomes because the nests are sooo easy to spot there.

If that's already where you're looking then the only thing I can suggest is to raise the loot drop to 150% or 200% next time you play. Of course that will also affect your other stackable loots too.

I hope we get to breed chickens one day because it would be fun to get some eggs too

I tried plains on recommendation but they blended in really well. I'm at the cell tower in navezgane so a bit far from desert, and I think desert is dangerous for vultures (1 clawed me and I nearly bled out in plains) and burnt is dangerous because of dogs. I'll give snow a try

would be nice to beable to make bird nests at your base to farm feathers

Go vulture hunting

Get yourself a hunting knife (as the tool actually matters now) and go find some vultures. You can get some 80+ feathers per vulture and can find quite a few of them.

Well snap! I still have yet to see a vulture. I guess they don't come around often in the forests.

Literally the one biome they don't spawn in.

Deserts are full of easy to see nests, vultures, and chickens. Though you can find nests easily in most biomes. Maybe less so if snowing in the snow biome and just in the wastland do to the busy terrain texture.

Use your club more often. For example, I shoot at their bellies and make them fall. Then I rush in and club them dead. Saves lots of feathers. Pure melee is also viable against single Zombies. I barely use any feathers until day 7.

Id like the ability to make a net you either use in your hands as a tool or something you set up behind you like a spike trap or barb wire.
