editing xml files on mac ?
Hello there, has anyone found a way to mod the xml files on a mac ? In the 7 days to die folder I dont have a Data folder :( And are the commands the same ? I´ve lost my minibike in SP and Im not sure if it is despawned or im just so dump that I cant see it

The .app file is not a file. It's a folder pretending to e a file. So right click it and select "view content". Let me reoot to Mac and I will give you the details.

OK, I'm on Mac now...

In Steam select the game, rightclick it and select properties.
Select the tab "local files" and then press "Browse local files".
Rightclick the file called "7DaysToDie.app" and select "Show Package Contents".
There you will find the Data folder and the xml files. :)

Yes, the bike is probably gone. It is a well known bug that te bike disappears. :-/

If you are on single player you can enable "chat mode" and give yourself pieces for a "replacement" bike. :) The commands are the same as on win/linux. But before LOADING your save game change in the settings to cheatmode on. Then you need to bring the console and tyoe some suff.. Dm or GM or something.. don't remember.. :)

the " mod" himself doesnt work, tested it in creative mode and theres nothing on the map/compass
