Enemy detection
I know this is a survival game and surviving shouldn't be to easy but i think there should be more ways to find out where enemies are. Since the devs don't want a detailed minimap that shows everything around you how about adding arrows that point in the direction of a zombie that is close to you?
This could be bound to perception either as it's own branch similar as animal tracking or simply depend on how many points you spend for perception skills.

minimap was around in the earlier versions was quite handy

This function is already in the game (clear quests), it does not , however, trigger on zombies that are still "sleeping".
Dunno if this is intended behavior or an engine limitation. If it's the latter, i could imagine that it would not be easely implemented as is.

It was removed because it made things super easy. It's not likely to come back.
All attempts to mod it back in that I'm aware of have failed.
