Consider that the Pathfinding routine must be run several times every few seconds so if the computer is not fast enough they may fail "finding" you and stay there "dancing" lol
If you've been hit by zombies, you've been stunned and probably received a bleeding wound requiring a bandage. These are 2 things even low level zombies are capable of. The percentage of chance is fairly high. If it's never happened, someone would have had to remove it from the XML.
No idea all I know is I never see or feel the stun/bleed effect and I have not changed any of my .xml.
The bleeding buff has a loud heartbeat telling you time is running out. It also has a message on screen.
edit: Are you comfortable looking at the XML?
