Report a translation problem
1) With a couple levels in Cardio and a steady supply of water and or tea you can ride around at turbo/sprint speed for a very long time. Given the drastic base speed decrese of just walking/running in base A17 the bike allows you to drastically increase your effective gathering radius in a single day and depending on your settings your nighttime manuverability as no zeds can catch you.
2) IF trade focused bicycles also allow you to bang out quests faster, double looting should you choose to with focus on keeping/selling the end of dungeon chest loot.
3) All vehicles, even the humble bike grant Blood Moon invulnerability should you be unwilling/unprepared to face the horde with your current setup.
4) Jumping (bound to x?) into and on top of zombies is fun. Even if the collision does little dmg to zombies.
Possibly a few other reasons but those are the only ideas I can offer on why others would see value in pushing for them.
And for the storage there is a mod(let)
To my suprise i maintain my speed without using up my stamina and it was easier to manage
