Bring back Zombie density choice.
World just feels empty. I remember when you could choose density remotely similar to zomboid urban areas. Was fun. Now its just empty world especially in towns.

Bring back Zombie density choice. Whos with me?

You must be playing a16 still?

There's a lot more regular Z's around in a17.

Alot more than vanila A16? Maybe.
But ALOT less than moded A16 or older versions with density settings.

Why was the option removed to begin with ?
We still have block durability choice and loot density. Why zombie density was removed?

It is true that there is almost no zombies in the world. But sometimes I prefer that.

I finished second horde on top of a roof. When I decided to go down to kill them all.... Suddenly it spawns a group of nearly 25 zombies with two screamers.. ;(

And sometimes while I'm harvesting resources.. boom... another group out of nowhere.

This is why it was fun when it was an option.
So those who want could tweak dificulty in the way they like....like with loot and block durability.

I still see 'some' scattered zombies out and about in the world, but not nearly as much as A16, unless you run into a roaming pack.

Personally, tt was nice walking into a city and seeing them all over the place and not just in POI's. Kinda made you plan your route of attack when trying to push deeper into a city hub/town. Now there's maybe a just handful scattered about w/ A17. All tho city hubs/towns seem borked atm w/ RWG.

My guess is they still have a lot more tweaking and adjusting to do in A17.

A16 is probably the version with less roaming zombies. Its a wandering horde or all sleepers type of thing. You used to get to a town, kill 10 zombies and the rest were sleepers, even in the streets.

A17 has noticeable more roaming zombies.

I use to mod city zombie density to keep fields with few zombies while cities crouded like in PZomboid but in A16 they changed something and settings stoped working in CFG.

It can be downloaded separately from the rest of his mods

U can change wilderness zombies in CFG. Seems like everything is wilderness now. There are no more cities from zombie spawning standpoint. And theres a limit to zombies and its not enough.

What are you talking about?! There's zombies EVERY WHERE!

I can't go into a single house without fighting for life each time, as houses have around 8 to 12 Zombies inside, each! Not even kidding.
One quest barn had 3 Normal zombies and 3 Ferals inside!
And they respawn at ridiculous rate. Not to mention that every 3, or 4 days I get a wondering horde of 12 to 20 Zombies. It's crazy!

POI are not realated to zombie count or spawing.
