How do I actually... craft... weapon mods?
So I'm probably being really stupid here, forgive me if I am.

I've got plenty of schematics. Silencer schematics, full auto, burst fire, reflex sights. All kinds. Got Yeah Science 3, and have enough steel, mech parts and more.

But... I can't craft the piece... because I don't know the recipe.

Am I missing something? Are books that teach recipes still a thing? The schmatic I need for the mod, of course. But do I need to find something else to learn how to make the mod itself?

Supposedly there's a bug that makes all mod schematics tier 5 so you need to have yeah science maxed out which requires player level 100..

there is a fix some one posted around here, edit the xml to fix this, not sure where it is, but if u search im sure ull find it

The skill "Yeah science" is bugged at the moment and cansider all schematics as "tier 5".
There is a topic somewhere where someone explain how to modify a game file to correct it.
Or you'll have to wait to be lvl 100 and buy the last level of "yeah science" ... or wait for an official patch.

wow player level 100? Didn't someone over there test this obvious feature? This is very bothersome that I get to look forward to this bug if I ever get far enough - which is becoming extremely difficult to do.

This is correct.

While you are at it, search that same XML file for the advanced engineering section, and go down to the same tags= section and where you see where it says workbench then comma add "tablesaw," (without quotes, include the extra comma).

Then you will be able to craft the actual table saw.

A17 sounds like it has tons of cool stuff, but is also so shot through with crappy stuff. Imma skip it for now

This fix is kinda broken, this guy added the mods tag and forgot to add chem station and other couple things lol.
