Compound Bow vs Crossbow

Which do you prefer? Personally I prefer compound, crossbow seems pretty much useless in comparison. Sure it has a few more points of damage but in the time it takes to reload and aim crossbow I can have multiple shots off with bow.

Theres perks to speed up reload of both. The target reticle for the xbow makes precise headshots almost to easy.

At first you're a bit more agile with the compound - but later on after a few perks - the xbow can be a bit better for shooting while moving.

Love crossy. Its my fav tool in the game. Awesome for stealth, and sufficient for a cpl of angry ferals should you wake them up. Can get kills without drawing attention, and you can keep the shots ready for as long as you want without loosing stamina. its accurate and deal decent dmg.

But yea.. the heavy reload sux, but its a fair tradeoff for no lost stam and the increased accuracy.

Crossy isnt as good as it was a16, but maaann.. I just love that mofo

edit; think the real reason I got used to crossy and started to like it more than compundbow is the sight.. i really dont like the reticle of the compound

Compound bow is my choice for everything stealth. And as a primary weapon for a long while, actually.

At least, until I find one of the base scopes (2x I think), which you can slap on a crossbow. From that point on, crossbow becomes one of my primary go-to weapons - the scope aim makes headshots even easier.
