Best prefabs for bases in random gen?
I haven't played this in a long time and I am just recently getting back into it. Looking for suggestions on some really cool prefabs I may not be familiar with to setup a base in.

Also, does the prairie biome still exist in random gen? I haven't found one yet and that's where I always make a base.

The old "plains" biome is gone afaik.

The best prefab imo is something strong and tall. I'm held up in the top two levels of a broken hotel I believe. Takes a while but break out the stairs and you should be good. Just did a gamestage 100+ 14 day horde and it hasn't collapsed yet.

Until the dame stage multiplier is fixed to NOT asvance your game stage 500% faster than A16 ( true story ) theres not much hope of lasting past night 21 or 28.

Current tactic as far as i know is find new large building to feeb them every horde night and hope you dont run out of lrge buildings lol

When all the zeds clip together they all get bouns damage against ONE block of anything so nothing lasts more than a few seconds.

Yeah you guys aren't kidding about the block damage, just saw 3 zombies break through a block of metal out in the world in less than a minute, pretty ridiculous.

The roof of a hotel is actually where I'm at now. What if I dig to bedrock and make a base down there with 10 of the strongest doors? Would these ridiculous superman zombies still break through that? I used to build that kind of base in previous alphas and it seemed overkill.

What keeps zombies from spawning? Player objects? Torches? Do torches cause "heat" and draw hordes/screamers?

I'd usually check wikis in other games instead of asking on forums but this game's changed so much over time that most info is no longer relevant.

Its my experience so far that they will go-round the door if needed. I have 6 Metal hatches at 20 blocks down ( when hiding visibility is 3), They dug around the hatches and doors to get through in an underground your a sitting duck.

recommendation is to have a defensible base underground, not a hiding place. Or just never be in there on horde night.

From out understadning if the see a door they will all go to it if your behind it. One will hit it then another and another all the time gaining bonus damege on the 1 objedt they are all hitting, once 4 or more gang up its basically over, the combined bonus damage of all them together merlts anything the come in contact with.

If your at bedrock and theres no clear path to you thry will frop to thier knees and start attacking down, once again baining bonus damage if more that 1 is near another. Now youve basically got all zombies in 1 hole all attacking straight down all getting bonus damage from the others around it.

Best we can hope for is the pimps take all this and feedback from the official forums and do w/e thye need to as far as balancing. I trust thrm to figure it out as imo they always have in the past.
