make enough ammo to survive bloodmoon. Or try playing at a harder level. Easy is..
afterall.... easy. For me personally easy is boring after day 2.
+1 to baddoggs answer ... :)
Funny part is that a player could have avoided the POI and used 10 campfires to summon a screamer (on his terms back at base) and have spent less ammuntion and quite possibly gotten some loot bags (5% for tougher zombies, 3% for not-so-tough).
Furthermore, players who set zombies run speed higher than JOG (for instance) is forcing themselves to combat zombies with range weapons, when they don't understand that ammuntion expenditure is inversely proportional to run speed ... :P
Attacking zombies on their own turf (POI)?
Answer ... Creat a quest to "clear zombies", a quest that is designed by the player and balanced by the player. Forget about the loot in the boxes, not everything is going to give a player a balanced loot under RNG rules, of course unless the player changes their own loot proc for a particular level.
No. Solid fact is, XP per game hour for mining is many times higher than looting, or even screamer farming. Try it. Just mine iron for an hour, get about 20 to 30k XP. Go looting and get about 10k xp, and about 1/10 the dukes value. I've already measured the averages carefully for many hours of looting.
Oh yeah, no doubt mining gains wonderful XP, which leads me to ask the question as to what this thread is really about.
Apparently burning up resources to attack an opponent (for whatever reason) isn't something new to gaming. Eventually we all have to build a nuke weapon but it's not gonna come cheap, and clearly looting isn't the reward.
What's the point of looting? The point is meaningless, and not everything has to have a meaning unless we want to play Duck Hunt and get a cookie for level completion with happy music and fan fair and medals handed out ... do we? (question not directed at you Jimmy).
save your bullets for horde night or emergencies when you get swarmed.

I use lv6 shotgun fully moded with rad remover loaded with normal shell and its pretty ammo sufficient.
TIER VI quests are currently remarked out (in xml). Yeah, that means it's WIP. We can probably have TIER unlimited in the future.
Instead of saying "it's a waste", "it's pointless" ... How about everyone come up with some ideas that are worth something instead of stating the obvious all the time ... geez .. :P
Hey ... Maybe a quest can give us a cool helicopter? Well maybe not, because some folks think we should be able to craft a multi-million dollar BlackHawk .. haha that always opens a good can of worms in the discussion forum ... someday.
