Cel-shading graphics like in Borderlands would be awesome and i would love it in this game
while mostly also prefering a more realistic aproach there are a few games where i say, that an non-realistic artstyle ist just perfectly fitting. Like the borderlands series, zelda WW and BotW or Divinity:OS(2) were the graphic just goes hand in hand with the overall settup of the game.
And while i can understand that many people dislike such stuff i think that a borderlands like cel-shading with a bit more melanchronic tone would be perfect for this game.
Does anyone know if it would be possible to do something like this with mods or an ENB like post processing?(since some complete render changes like this are "a bit" more complicated and a texture pack solution would look terrible and miss out many features of cel-shading)
other topic: The graphic updates for A17 look awesome. Really looking forward to this!
Cell shading also works with low detail environments which would suit this game well i think but with the new texture update i don't think they would consider changing at this late stage.
I freakin' love the cell shaded graphics in all BL games.
I tried over and over to get friends to play because combat, gunplay and performance were so good.
But all i got was "ehrmagerd the gerphix!"
On topic: Unity 2018 is supposed to help with better graphics and performance for 7D2D.
Looking forward to seeing these changes.
*sigh*

Its not a finished game and in game development you get all the systems in and working *and then* you move to making it look nice and run fast.

man this game would be better if it had cartoony cell shading..
if it was in 7 days- after an hour of playing you wouldnt really notice because -its the game play that counts...
