No problem. Just take your time, read and watch the tutorials. This thing is foolproof if you follow the instructions. It will give you easy access to lots of other mods too. Enjoy!
I suggest going to the Bugs & Issues subforum. Read the sticky thread titled How to Report an Issue. Make a post there following those instructions. They will require your system specs and some crash logs to determine what is causing your problem. Knowing the brand name of your computer is of no help. It is like me saying "I drive a Ford" and asking you to guess its top speed. You have no idea if it is a pick-up or a Mustang GT.
I am sure you're already doing this, but you must launch the mod from the ModLauncher, not from Steam. And since you are running the BBM version, make sure you uncheck "Use EAC" in the ModLauncher as they are not compatible. Beyond that, just follow the instructions above and some smart person in the Bugs section will sort you out. Good luck.
