Oct to May is not close to a year. You may want to read the linked info at the very beginning of this thread to have a better understanding of how development is progressing.

And thrash your grade school teacher for telling you that a year is less than 12 months.

I have to agree. I would like the devs to go ahead and wrap this up. This is an update, for an alpha, taking so long for a single update is a bad omen in more ways then one.

I hope this does not take much longer.

Guess they're waiting on getting that senior AI programmer so they can make the zombies more efficient at finding us. Or could be the working with a newer engine.

I have no idea and have to revert to experts qualified verifieable information to learn more about modern game development ( such as yourself )/

I for one think the longer it takes, the better. We could probably expect some really good things in the next update.

kinda have to agree with you there! i know the longer it takes the better, but for christ sake this is just an update in alpha state game!! people need to wake up and smell the coffee, this devs is surly in trouble, they look for help (witch could be good or bad... no one really knows)
to be honest, i don't like to see this dev say quits, but i'v seen it happen before... miss management of funds, they run dry and not all goals met, and god knows what else they don't say us... for all we know something happent in there personal life ( a dead or a very sick person... not something you say to the masses )
in short we don't really know why..

i'm a fan of this game, even i can see there in some sort of problems they don't tell us and that makes me fear the worsed, that's how i em. always thinking the worst.
i just wished they came clean (if there in big problems) or atleast tell us more in detail and for christ sake give ETA's even if you think you can't make them.
