can you play with friends with mods? how does this work

both of you must have SAME VERSION of mod and find server that host that mod or else of the two of you, the person w/ the best rig must create game in mp game tab

we both downloaded valmod and i created a game but when my friend tries joining it just says connecting for a long long time

ke has to join through the server list in the game. In other words he cannot simply click your profile and select join game.

to be more specific, the guy with the best specs creates MP game and sets stuff up, the other goes to server list finds game by searching friends tab....

You ask if we can play with friends with mods.

Every time I try to mod my friends, they say, "Hey! Cut it out!" and push me away. So I haven't had much luck with that.
