loading UI never stops loading

Just now when I make a new level, it says loading UI and stays like that for an eternity! Do you guys know what's wrong?

Ok need more info. Are you waiting for the Main menu to open? Or are you trying to use the editor to see what a seed will look like? The editor will take a long time but is based on your PC.

Finally inorder to really help knowing your PC specs is going to be key. Even if I can not help someone passes through that can help without specs will can not tell much. Suggest edit to the first post.

I have a good gaming pc but when I'm loading in a new server I created it just says loading UI forever. Just a simple new map, nothing else like editing etc.

Ok is that a Random Gen map? They take time to create. Not entirely sure what resources are more import for it. Even our Server with a good CPU takes a few minutes to generate the map. From what I can tell the map is fully created before you load in. Then as you explore it is generated into visual for the first time.

Hope this clears things up? Also why it is loading check your Task manager and see if any resource is maxed out. I think its just you have to be patient as the map is generated.

I think he is talking about a SP game and not a dedicated server. Regardless the maps take time to generate and that time goes based on hardware. Only so much that can be done.

Appreciate the link though as I wondered if my PC could run our server if we stopped paying for a dedicated server box.

it's a private multiplayer server, I used to be able to load maps in a short time, now I can never play and all it says is "loading UI" Ever since I extracted a mod on 7d2d it does this. I deleted the mods and nothing changed!

random gen and the default navagazen are unloadable now for some reason and I had no problem before but now it's being weird. I am uninstalling and reinstalling it now to see if it just needed that
