Tool and Dye set. What's it for ?

I can't find a tool and dye set anywhere. Is it important? What's it for?

It's one of the tools used in the forge like the anvil and crucible. I may be a bit fuzzy on this, but I believe its main use is for crafting rocket ammo.

Try getting your scavenging skills higher, plus Quality Joe, plus Secret Stash for the traders. You'll start seeing them pop up once in awhile. I have maybe 5 atm. I can't remember ever needing the set myself, then again, I have never bothered to make rockets either. They are such messy things if you're not careful. I prefer the exploding crossbow bolts as they only damage zombies mainly.

Only things I've ever seen them used for is to craft rocket launcher ammo and steel arrowheads. Mostly, you'll sell them for gobs of cash at the trader. They can be worth almost 1000 poker chips.

You don't need it for crafting steel arrowheads.

It's used for a fair bit of the electrical crafts OH and it was used to make some pre-reqs for Repair Kits as far as I remember (but that were a few patches ago, so could have changed).
