so in lamens terms Steel arrows fly faster, deal more max damage and have better chance to cause bleeding on impact. its up to you to decide if the 10 potential extra damage is worth twice the cost in iron though. Imho it depends on your supply of iron (which aint a problem when you start some proper minining operation to dig iron ore veins). and assuming you can make the steel which both requires some leveling aprox lvl 40 - so at usually its okay to use iron head for some time and then switch to steel ones when you can.
I haven't gone far enough to make an underground base or mine an iron vein like the ones in youtube hahaha. Sad me, but thanks for enlightening me. I guess it all depends on timing whether or not I should switch to steel or stick with iron.
