Allies and sharing containers

HI all,

So loving the game so far.

How do you ally/check whether you are allied to someone? Also, is it possible to share containers? If so, how? I am playing with 1 other person and at the moment we can not open each others containers.

Players tab lets you make allies, the “people “ icon at top of menu.

Even when allied , you need to unlock chests after you craft them. I think you hold the E button for lock/ unlock/ pin code.

If you press Tab to open the crafting menu at the top right there will be a players icon. Click that and a new window will appear showing you and your friend. Click the little + symbol on your friends name and they will receive an invite for which they will repeat the same procedure to become allies with you. Next to that there is a blank check box you can click to track your friend and they can do the same. You will appear on each others compass as a colored arrow. As for storage you can either put a code on it or you can unlock it by holding e to bring up different options.
