Two pressure traps connected to a single turret
I want to connect two pressure traps to a single turret. Is this possible to do? I have not succeeded despite trying with relay and Trip Wire Post.

I do not want to spend one turret for each pressure trap.

Thank you

Quiero conectar dos trampas de presión a una sola torreta. Es posible hacerlo? No lo he logrado a pesar de intentarlo con relé y con Trip Wire Post.

No quiero gastar una torreta por cada trampa de presión.

Gracias

Yes. You can connect any number of pressure plates in serial. So your full circuit can be....

Power Source -> Plate -> Plate -> Plate -> Dart Trap

I do this often to cover very long corridors with a Dart Trap at one end. Beware that any plate being tripped counts as all plates on the same circuit as being tripped. This is necessary for it all to work but it can deliver unexpected results if you try to be clever.

EDIT: I just realised you are using a turret. I have never tried that with a pressure plate but I'd guess it'll be the same as the Dart Trap.

Thanks for your answer

That system is impossible because you have to press the two plates at the same time to activate the turret.

I would like to do:

Power Source -> Plate 1-> Turret A
Power Source -> Plate 2-> Turret A

Power Source -> Plate 3-> Turret B
Power Source -> Plate 4-> Turret B

Can be done?

Turrets can only have one power source so no your plan won't work

No it works. Read my answer carefully. Any plate being pressed counts as all plates on the same circuit as being pressed.

Power Source -> Plate 1-> Turret A
Power Source -> Plate 2-> Turret A

Power Source -> Plate 3-> Turret B
Power Source -> Plate 4-> Turret B

Power Source -> Plate 1 -> Plate 2 -> Turret A

will work

I dont know how far are yourplate to each other. If ever your plate 1 & 2 are too far to each other you can do this:

POWER SOURCE => SWITCH1 => PLATE1 => TURRET A
POWER SOURCE => SWITCH1 (=> SWITCH2...3....4....5) => PLATE2 => TURRET A

You can connect several SWITCH (0watt) each other instead of using the RELAY (1watt).

The disadvantage of the relay is that you can connect only 1 thing to it, while the switch is multiple connection.

I typically go from
power source => turret => plate1 NOT => plate2 => plate3
.....................................=> plate2
.....................................=> plate3

But I also usually use switches for shotgun & smg turrets.
Which is
power source => switch => turret1 OR => turret2 => turret3
...........................maybe => turret2
.......................................=> turret3

I may be missing something but since turrets already have a motion sensor imbedded in them and are triggered by sight/ camera view, what is the point of using a pressure plate at all?

Trigger a Trigger

Turret use more energy while active alone. Trigger palte use 0, sensor motion use 5, wire Trip use 1.

So Turret activated only if zombie walk on Plate.

Conserve ammo. Having turrets fire way off into the distance will just cause it to miss most of the shots and waste ammo. Plus it will fire at stuff that may be nonthreats and waste ammo on that too. If you use a pressure plate you can force it to only fire when something comes within a set distance and then deactivate.
