Chicken Coop POI

This would be usefull, especially when eggs seem to be hard to find after time. Thoughts?

There's a farm mod out... can't remember the name, but look for "JaWoodle" vids on youtube... he reviewed it.

For me eggs are only an early game staple until I get crops going. I could make about 300 pies from all the ones I've got in storage, and even then pies are only good for 15 health.

Maybe on multiplayer eggs are scarce, in my single player game I am limited only by how much effort I put into searching. I beleive nests respawn like other containers.

Eggs definitely become an issue in mp late game(especially no loot respawns), but I was really kinda looking at it as another POI opportunity. I mean within the game,with all the current farms, there really is no eggs "jackpot" kinda thing. I play a lot of RWG and I just think it would make a good poi to add into the list of others.

Does sound like an interesting idea. I know modders that made chicken coops craftable. Don't know if any exist for A17 though.

Devs should man-up and pay Valmar for the rights to his craftable egg supplying chickencoop mod. Was balanced and reasonable.

When the steam workshop and POI editor are up and running there is likely to be a lot of stuff like this available. We'll get to see just how creative the community is.

I don"t see why current farm POI's don't have them already.... any farmer worth his salt has chickens.... just tack a coup on around the side/back of the barn and you're set.

That is why there would be and are not any chicken coops with noisy chickens running around dropping 100 of eggs and a farmer feeding them so they lay more eggs all the while they are squawking and making huge noise in a zombie apocolypse.

I can just see some zombie trying to catch a chicken chasing him around. He'd be like leaning up against a fence post going "damn that chicken is hard to catch"

The chickens that were cooped up starved to death for lack of food. The only ones still alive are running around wild. I think the eggs from the birds nests are not necessarily meant to be chicken eggs anyway.

I subscribe to the feral chicken chasing theory.
