TFP have always taken things that work in other games and put them in 7DTD. :-]
To think how the game graphics was when it first started is flabbergasting!
You're welcome. :-]
Will this make the tablesaw mostly/entirely obsolete? Can't say I'll miss it being a requirement for some shapes, that's kind of a pain when you forget to plan around it..I'm just curious.
Or am I completely misunderstanding the video?
I thought it looked like you'll now simply craft the generic "block"/frame which you carry in your inventory and then, afterward, you'll be able to choose its actual shape from that list when you decide to place it. Does that sound right?
As for the tablesaw, I don't remember which blocks are crafted there, I only used it to craft fences :P so I think they'll keep it for things like that, special shapes that might've been exclusive to the tablesaw will most likely be transferred to the generic cube (guesswork, but I think it's logical).
