There is a herbal antibiotic recipe in the canyon mine desert biome. Explore thoroughly.

Hit those para supply drops...they tend to be a food, weapon/tool, or med drop or combos.

PopnPills stores will almost certainly net you antibiotics.

Vitamins will prevent infection...when you start getting a supply in, consider taking one in high risk situations.

As far as mechanics, basically the cure infection % if it is higher than your infection % it will slowly cancel it out. I carry honey in my bike inventory so i can take it asap after infection so it will get rid of it. Honey "cures" 5% infection, so if I use it before infection hits 5%, all good.

Thanks. About the lucky looter, is it actually worth to spend points in it?

Hard to quantify. I just put a point into it early on and forget about it. No way to know but early on I want as high a chance as possible of finding honey, a wrench, weapons, cooking pot even with the understanding that these items have a better chance of showing up in certain places.

Vets on here that are heavily experimenting with a18 and what the loot rank structures look like in xml can shed better light.

Anyway, those first 4 points i get, one goes into Lucky Looter. I want a chance at better stuff asap

I believe the first perk in living off the land increases honey found in trees as well

Another tip is to get armor early. Even just cloth armor works. The more armor you have, the less often you bleed or get infected. With mostly iron armor I’ve been hit 60+ times without a single infection.
