Yeah, it's kinda dumb because they consider the NORMAL music to be 'dynamic music', and then these annoying sound clips just have no setting to control them.
Well put sir.
As far as overhauls are concerned, JaxTeller managed to make the night sound more creepy with Ravenhearst and Age of Oblivion by Pipermac has a few interesting noises as well. War3zUK's overhaul also has some great creature voices that work very well when there is no music.
This doesn’t need to be a debate, some like it some don’t, we have a bunch of settings for graphics in the game, it wouldn’t hurt to add a setting for it so everyone can choose.
It would be much appreciated
But I tend to modify the weather file so it's cloudy and rains and storms most of the time (I like cloudy/dark as a loner-apoc. atmosphere is all), and either play my own tunes or run a wind/rain and storm video soundtrack in the background as "ambient."
Maybe one day I'll combine something like that with some "sounds of nature" birds and other soundtrack and have the perfect background for while I play this game.
I just turned music off entirely. It's a shame because the daytime music is great and has that bleak post-apoc feel to it that really suits the game well, and a lot of the trader music is good too. But the night 'music' is so abysmal that I'm forced to give up on it to make it tolerable.
Ive been looking for this option
Where can we find those files?
EDIT: I've found another link, i'm gonna try to edit it now, since when i play multiplayer i am the host and i disable EAC cuz it's absolute trash so i have no problem, but if you intend to play in multiplayer servers "protected" with EAC apparently you should NOT EDIT ANY of those files
