Do hordes fall into holes ?
Atm im on day 13 and soon i will get my 2nd horde, if i dig a huge hole down, will the zombies coming towards me fall in ? I will stay in a secure place while they fall into my pit and use like molotovs and such, would that work ?

Mabey. They dig through dirt pretty fast but if you were somehow directly above them they should stay in the center bellow you.

I was also curious about this a while back and dug a hole to bed rock, put a structure above it and waited to see what would happen when standing above the hole. Zombies attacked the structure and avoided the hole. So I dug a tunnel to the bottom of the hole and put good walls around like an arena, I guess. When at the bottom, or rather standing on the walls at the bottom, zeds did jump down. Normals will die, radiated cops will not. Try it yourself, maybe you'll have different results.

I saw in a Youtube vid that you can "encourage" zombies to drop down pits by placing a ladder block on the side of all the top blocks of the pit. Since the ladder is counted as taking a block space it fools the zombie programming (which tries to avoid falls) into thinking it's a solid block and they can walk on that block but since it's only a ladder instead they will fall.

Not like they used to, since A16 they stop at edge only ones will fall is ones being pushed.

Even in A15 they had "trouble" pathfinding their way into a hole. Usually lining the edge of a pit or hole with a block like Poles or Plates does encourage them to walk onto the block thinking it's a full block only to fall off. This was one of my early Horde night defenses, utilizing barbed wire at the top to slow them down and turn them into crawlers, and use an inverted cage so that you're standing on the outside of the pit (utilizing Pillar 50's for the cage walls).

It eventually got decommisioned as a Horde defense when we had a Cop drop down, and killed two of us when it decided to blow up. Later on on another Horde night I had a Feral decide to drop down, which broke through the pillars, and rampaged through our mining area underneath the base. Ended up logging out and logging back in, causing it to despawn, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to kill it as I was out of ammo at the end of Horde night.

Now I just play with Zombies always walk, maximum spawns, and meet them out in the field.
