If you go west from Diersville, and stay on the road you'll find a Crack-a-Book shop there, maybe 1-1.5 KM along.

There are also scattered bookstores. The church in the snow biome (NW), probably has as many lootable shelves as the resident evil house more NNE. Thing is with the town, there is also a bookstore there, but not much in loot tbh. Bookstore on the way to the forest biome trader. Bookstore HQ in desert (SE). Schematics tend to appear pretty often in filing cabinets and small trashbins as well.
