7 days easy horde... 14th days harder hord... every 7 days the horde become harder
^^
your maximum health and stamina.
Also, on the setting you can make you drop items...
or even make them be deleted. Personnally I erase the world
on death but I am pretty hardcore.
For night 7 and all other hordes, there is no extra
consequences. Just what you had set + lose of welness.
Also, here things you should know abou the hordes.
- They know where you are. Always.
- They are spawning all the night.
- The more days pass, the more the kind of zombies which spawn is powerful.
- The more you are doing good, the harder the horde
- Zombies hate doors. Be sure this is not on their reach or
they will destroy it in a couple of second... or put some blocks.
Finally, can you die over and over in hordes?
Of course you can. This is to you to make sure that doesn't
happen. Not dying is of course the best but you have to be ready
in case you do. For example, you can make a cheap tower
and put your sleeping bag there with some equipment.
This way, even if your base is invaded, you will be save
on respawn... or simply putting it on your roof or something.
Nope. Dying to the day 7 horde has the same consequences as dying any other time. You respawn at your bedroll with -10 wellness.
The main reason to survive the 7 day horde is to see how far you can get. Like already mentioned, every 7 days the horde becomes stronger. Later you have hundreds of zombies in each horde.
Most longtime players try to survive as long as possible and start a new game when they die.
But a permadeath mode is planned for the next update.
In the end, the game is just a giant sandbox and every player should be able to play it as they want.
Some want harsher punishments for death, thats fine. Other players dont, thats fine too.
The outer walls make a great place to kite zombies and/or pick em off with a bow. Just be sure to have the railings in place so they can't get around as easy.
