- Enough light
- Type of Soil (e.g.: from what biome is that?)
- Soil state (untilled/tilled/fertilized)
This should cover it all.and if everything but potatoes is growing, i have no idea. corn you can still plant on untilled soil i think, so make sure you use that hoe and till your soil in nice noticeable rows.
If I was you I'd just make a hole in the roof to see if that solves the problem.
Also you didn't tell us what kind of soil you used for your potatos... :-]
Are you sure some of those dirt spots are not clay patches maybe?
If it's not the glass that could explain why the food is growing differently over there.
