Plus it's very bright on 7 day horde night.
but from a pure strategic standpoint Desert is the best
Long term I like the maple forest, after stock piling from the underground desert operation I'll build something nice in a maple forest to live in, starting with concrete for the lower floors/walls/pillars and have plenty of access to wood for spikes and upper/interior areas that don't need to be zombie proofed
Other biomes are just to visit (mining or looting) and I'll typically only make small outposts in them
Wasteland (iron, lots of it and people won't really bother you there so all the loot for yourself).
Burnt biome (dont need to bring 2 set of clothes in that one and same as wasteland for loot).
I absolutely despise forest and plains.
But what biome do you like to build a base in?
