Also - attempting to host a Dedicated server on the same machine that you are playing on, is just... bad, unless you have a crapton of RAM (32+), as this game can be a RAM-hog. Same with hosting SurvivalMP games, the game tends to have a memory leak after a while, especially if you have less than 16GB of RAM, it'll show.
If while logging back in, you do log on - and the ground is still missing, simply drop a wooden frame at the edge of ground that is still showing, before you land where it's gone. This should force the chunk to load.
Note that this was probably cause by a mix of a memory leak and de-sync from going at max speed on your minibike.
On the bright side you can reset the map and keep your character. hurts but at least you have that,
